For more than 50 years, we’ve relied on our team of dedicated professionals to turn our company into an ongoing success story. We’d like you to see exactly what it’s like here on a typical day. Whatever your career choice, you’ll see that your work can be creative, stimulating and rewarding.
A Day in the Life of a Client Service Analyst
It’s been six weeks since you joined TD Insurance. During this time, you took the courses needed to earn your Insurance Professional License, which opens up new doors for you. It’s time to show off your talent in both sales and customer service.
Your modern office, conveniently located in a major metropolitan centre, suits your tastes. You see that your personal work area is large and well-equipped with the latest technology. You’re asked to keep the offices clean and inviting, which adds to the spirit of professionalism here.
As the day begins, you touch base with your team members. You’re pleased that there are only 12 analysts per team, so it’s easy to stay motivated and exchange tips on sales tactics, discuss interesting cases, and confer on how to solve new problems. You can also rely on your supervisor who gives you further guidance on how to make your client contacts more sales-oriented, professional, helpful and efficient.
The work comes in a steady flow, and you thrive on the pace. Calls are automatically routed to your desk as prospects call for information on insurance. For instance, somebody calls in for an auto insurance quote. You use your polished communications skills to assess their needs and get a clear picture of their driving habits. With your extensive sales experience and Insurance Professional License, you’re well-equipped to guide them to the right insurance product. You then prepare a quote using the advanced technology available to you. In only a few minutes, the client has all the necessary information to make an informed decision.
More calls come in and each call is different, providing enjoyable variety in your work. You serve current customers as well, answering questions and helping make adjustments to existing insurance policies. No two customers are alike, and you make sure that everyone receives the best service – and best product for their needs.
A typical day ends precisely on time, allowing you to plan for late-day activities and achieve work/life balance. You’re on the way home - right on schedule.
